Tootin’ My Horn–in praise of poets!

The one thing about getting older is my resume gets longer/my journey becomes more meaningful.  It helps to be passionate about something.  I am passionate about writing, poetry, and teaching/mentoring poets.  Three poets, whom I have mentored in the past, have had books published this month, March 2011.  CONGRATULATIONS to Karolyn, Marge, and Nick!

Check out their work and support poetry by buying poetry books:

Prayers of the Shaman, by Karolyn Redoute, published by Plain View Press, Austin, TX  http://plainviewpress.net/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=230

My Memoir Dress, by Marge Barrett, published by Finishing Line Press, Georgetown, KY http://www.finishinglinepress.com/NewReleasesandForthcomingTitles.htm

The Road-Shaped Heart, by Nick Purdon, published by Modern History Press, AT THE PRINTER NOW  http://nick-purdon.blogspot.com/2010/10/front-cover-road-shaped-heart.html

Note:  Let me know if you receive notice of this post-it’s the only way I will know if my blog site is now working.  Thanks.
