THE INSATIABLE SEARCH FOR TRUTH, by Joseph Norio Uemura is a chronological autobiography of events and places. Minnesota is where he and his family eventually settle. Uemura, professor of Philopsophy, retired after 28 years at Hamline University. A dedication stone at Hamline honors Uemura “who expanded the known world and filled it with beauty.”
I enjoyed not only the story, but the beautiful black and white photos that help visualize one man’s journey. The paper of the pages, the book cover, are a texture as beautiful as the man and his family.
